This section describes the contents of the structure grid of type neut_grid which holds all necessary information for a grid specification. The contents of the structure is shown below.

Description

Number of control volumes (regions) in the bottom reflector.

l

Number of control volumes (regions) in the core plate (steel plate).

l

Number of control volumes (regions) in the core.

l

Number of control volumes (regions) in the top reflector.

l

Total number of control volumes, ie N_tot = N_refl1 + N_steel + N_core + N_refl2.

l

Number of transition steplengths used by the grid generator to complete the two steplength transitions (see section 1.9).

l

Step length in the bottom reflector [cm].

l

Step length in the core plate (steel plate) [cm].

l

Step length in the core (except in the two transition areas) [cm].

l

Step length in the top reflector [cm].

l

Vector of order N_tot which contains the steplengths in the computational grid [cm].

l

Vector of order N_tot+1 which contains the z-coordinates in the computational grid [cm].
