Derivation of curve fits for the transport properties

In this appendix we will derive simple curve fit formulae for calculation of the following transport properties

.
Surface tension of water-steam: $\sigma$.
.
Viscosity of water and steam: $\mu_\ell$, $\mu_g$.
.
Thermal conductivity of water: $k_\ell$.

Since most boiling water reactors operate with a mean system pressure around 70 bar our aim is to construct curve fit formulae which have a high accuracy in the vicinity of 70 bar which corresponds to a saturation temperature of 286 ${}^\circ\mbox{C}$.
