Test case description

The test case which we have chosen in order to demonstrate the capabilities of the full code consists of the so-called Simplified Boiling Water Reactor (or simply SBWR) by General Electric Co. which is described in the references [50], [51], [52] and [37, p. 816-9]. The main data for the SBWR are shown in Table 14.1.

The geometry of the fuel assemblies used in the SBWR design which are standard General Electric (8 x 8) is shown in Figure 14.1.
